Marine Synopsis -

Thunderstorms have weakened for the moment, but more area expected to develop today as a stationary front lingers in our area. A slow-moving cold front along with weak low pressure to the northwest will allow for strong winds to develop later today, and continued occasions of thunderstorms through the weekend. High pressure flexes on Sunday, allowing the front to move back northwest, out of the area.

Today -

  Winds southwesterly 12 to 18 knots, easing at times, increasing 15 to 20 knots in the afternoon, gusts to 30 knots in heavier showers and thunderstorms...  Scattered to widespread rain and showers developing, likely thunder, with fair to poor visibility ... Seas increasing, inside the reef 1 to 2 ft... Outside the reef 3 to 6 ft...  Sunrise: 6:32 am.

Tonight -

  Winds southwesterly 15 to 20 knots, gusts to 30 knots in heavier showers and thunderstorms...  Scattered to widespread rain and showers, likely thunder, with fair to poor visibility ... Seas increasing, inside the reef 1 to 2 ft... Outside the reef 3 to 6 ft...  Sunset: 8:18 pm.

Saturday -

  Winds southwesterly 18 to 22 knots, gusts to 30 knots in heavier showers and thunderstorms...  Scattered to widespread rain or showers, risk of thunder, with fair to poor visibility... Seas increasing, inside the reef 1 to 3 ft... Outside the reef 4 to 7 ft...  Sunrise: 6:33 am; Sunset: 8:17 pm.

  Winds southwesterly 15 to 20 knots, gradually easing south-southwesterly 12 to 18 knots...  Scattered showers, chance thunder, with fair to poor visibility, becoming isolated later... Seas inside the reef 1 to 3 ft... Outside the reef 4 to 7 ft...  Sunrise: 6:33 am; Sunset: 8:16 pm.
